I went to the Sac Contemporary Dance Theatre's performance, 'Behind the Apron' at the Sofia recently. I heard about it on the Afternoon News with Kitty O'Neal and am so happy to have made it to this show over the weekend. The performance highlighted the importance of mental health in the restaurant industries and was absolutely beautiful! The dancers were so stunning in the way they moved and the music evoked a lot of emotion.. I found myself crying in many of the scenes. I've never worked in the restaurant industry so I learned a lot from this show and walked away from the Sofia that night deeply moved.
This show is in partnership with Bobbin and Patrick Mulvaney and presented by B Street Theatre and the proceeds of this show benefited the I Got Your Back campaign. I was really happy to learn more about I Got Your Back and knowing the proceeds from the tickets I got went to such a great cause made me feel even better about attending such a special event.
